Back-2-School Drive 2020
Our first Back-2-School Drive was a huge success!
This year, the GIFTS Foundation was able to collect roughly 80 backpacks across the Ypsilanti School District.

The team spent our time collecting donations, assembling backpack with school supplies, and distributing them directly to the school. Thank you everyone for all your help!
​
We even recruited some help from Ypsilanti School District's Super Intendent Alena Zachery-Ross.
Thanksgiving Food Drive 2020
Our first holiday food drive went better than we could have hoped!
This season, we were able to collect enough money and canned foods to put together food boxes for those in need this holiday. These were all distributed in order to feed almost 150 families' their own Thanksgiving dinners.

The team spent our time collecting donations, assembling each box with the food needed, buying grocery gift cards, and distributing them directly to the families in need.

Winter Coat Drive 2020
Our first winter coat drive warmed up many in need this season!
This season, we were able to collect enough winter coats to donate to more than 80 families. These were all distributed at our Thanksgiving Food Drive pickup, and we were humbled by the feedback from many.

The team spent our time collecting donations, cleaning and organizing coats by sizes, and distributing them directly to the families in need.

Christmas Drive 2020
This Christmas we were able to hand out presents to 62 families in need thanks to the hard work of the Gifts team, but also a huge help from both Troop 40243 Girl Scouts and Precision Patriots baseball team 13U! These groups did a fantastic job of getting the word out to their communities about the need, safely, while so many are struggling. Both of these groups organized and worked to collect toys so that other children in their communities could celebrate Christmas this year too!

In addition we were also able to pass out 100+ boxes of food for Christmas this year, helping reduce the families and individuals in this community not eating good on Christmas.

Our first Christmas Drive brought smiles and gifts to many in need this season!
Easter Drive 2021
This Easter we were able to pass out Easter Baskets filled with toys and candy to 45 families in the Washtenaw area. Thanks to the efforts of many of you and this community, this Easter was a huge success. With COVID affecting so many families, your help was able to lighten the burden for many this season.

In addition to the 45 Easter baskets we were able to collect and distribute this year, we were also able to provide 100 boxes of food to families in need on Easter! The burden of providing was made a little easier this year thanks to the efforts of this amazing community,

As our first Easter as a Charity, we were able to assist and connect with so many new faces in this community!
Back-2-School Drive 2021
This years Back-2-School campaign far exceeded our expectations, collecting enough in donations to donate more than 200 backpacks and school supplies. These supplies went to benefit the Ypsilanti Area Community Center, Hamilton Crossing Community Center and the Ypsilanti School District.
We want to take a moment to thank all of you who have helped us make this happen, along side the efforts of Courtney from Aletha Briarwood. We also want to thank several individuals who went above and beyond for their community. Thank you Teagan Lechnar, Ayla Louden, Alayna Robbins, Zach Tinglan, Jeffrey Richards, Miranda Macias, and Greg Simmons for helping to make this campaign our most successful yet.
We are so honored to be apart of this amazing community, and to be able to help give back in any way that it needs.
This years Back-2-School campaign went far above what we could have ever expected. It is thanks to this community that we are able to make the impact that we do, thank you!
CHRISTMAS DRIVE 2021
This Holiday season Gifts Foundation was able to hand out presents to 60 families thanks to all of the generous donors this year who helped make this possible! We also had a huge Help from Alpha XI Delta who hosted a charity flag football event that not only helped raise money for our holiday campaigns but brought awareness to the growing number of people living in poverty in our community.

In addition to the gifts we passed out we were also able to pass out 100+ food boxes this year as well to families and individuals helping reduce hunger as it continues to rise in our community.
